Nearly 1,000 students attended our education school day programs! Students learned about Basket Weaving, Meherrin Language, Weapons, Hunting, Dances, History, and Stories.
Chief Wayne Brown along with Denise Brown-Mcauly and Chief Billy Lazore presented special honors to local community leaders.
Meherrins working hard in the food shack too keep our dancers and visitors fed and happy!
Three days of festivites, dances, and educational programs were blessed with great weather and public participation!
Beautiful Smoke Dancing! Lisa George took the 1st place prize in the women's division.
